12x12 Demo Day

Masculine Challenge

Hi again,

Remember last month's Masculine challenge. Well finally here they are. There wasn't the same volume of entries as we had for the Scallop challenge but the quality was definitely there.
The prize was 3 cuttlebug folders.

The Races are nearly here.....

... and as they say around here once the races are over, it's nearly Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!

The time is flying by and our 'summer' will soon be gone.

Was in the shop on Friday and there is lots of new bits and pieces in. I spyed the Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Fillable Pen Markers and Bazzill Quote Stickers. The new Flower Soft is in - it is scrummy. Also arrived today is the new Spellbinders pendants and matching borderabilities.
All will be on the site soon.

As you know the summer extravaganza is next weekend - looking forward to seeing some of you there. There is lots of work going on in the background for the GBCE - so keep checking in for updates.

We are getting really excited about the Summer Extravaganza next weekend (31, 1 and 2), and we are now even more excited because we have a picture in the Galway Advertiser.

Grainne (who works for us on Weekends and Holidays) kindly modelled some of our cards and jewellery.

Spellbinders Pendants coming soon

I was just very naughty - you can blame Sarah H - bad (or good influence) and I have just bought the new Spellbinder Pendant range.

Pearlescent Paper and Card Stocks are up!

Just thought I would let you know that we have just had a really good delivery of pearlescent paper and card - and it is available in our Payperbox system - which means it is amazing value.
The papers are lovely for printing on - especially when using your Crafters Companion Cds. Try using a different colour to white and create the most amazing backing papers. We also have great pearlescent card stock as well.
Unfortunately as it is a pick 'n mix we can't really sell it online, but if you phone the shop, we can be your personal shoppers and help you pack up a box (or 3).

The Bellas are coming back

Hi - just decided that I am going to place another Stamping Bella order. Linda is planning her colouring class for the Summer Extravaganza and she is going to be showing us how to get those professional finishes using Sansodor.

Diamond White from Flowersoft

Well I have finally done it! I have uploaded all the brand new goodies from Flowersoft so that you can pre-order. They begin shipping tonight - and our order is among the first to go out. I believe that the pure white Flowersoft is really amazing and can't wait to try it. They are also sending a demo kit - so I think I feel a play night coming on - so watch this space.

Coffee Morning Challenge

Been really busy - getting together the new blog for the GBCE in Athlone in September.
Ye are really in for a treat - so keep your eyes/ears peeled over the coming days for more info.

Last Friday was coffee morning at An Siopa Buí. I wasn't there but I believe that I missed some wonderful projects. Cathy McMahon won the prize for this lovely 'game'

Bits & Pieces of News

Morning,

Hope ye are all starting to dry out after all that rain over the last few days.

A couple of updates for ye:

Check out the new buttons at the top of the page - have shuffled things around and there should be more information there for ye on the summer extravagana, the GBCE, demos at the shop and the coffee mornings.

Had a mail from Kerry this morning. She will be at the coffee morning this Friday 10th July. She will have new magazines and all the news from South Africa. She might even have some new goodies.
Bring along your challenge item. The challenge agreed at the last coffee morning was to make something for a child - a card, LO, album or anything else suitable for a child.
There is prize for it - a €20 gift voucher.

Advanced Cardmaking Class

Hi there,

Well back to reality now with a splash- what is going on with all this rain????

Here are some pictures of Phil's Advanced Cardmaking class. The cards were fab and the craic seemed to have been good. I got there late in the day and I think the gang were a bit tired after all the lovely cards made since morning. These cards are just fab and pictures just don't do them justice.
