Off to Dubai Shopping

Countdown has begun - Monday I am off to Dubai on a buying trip for the shop. I am going to be buying lots of beads, ribbons, toppers and more. I haven't been for 18 months so I am really excited. The craft shopping is a bit mad. It is all wholesale and you have to go deep into the souk and climb funny little stairs in rabbit warren type shops, but the stock is amazing.
I am going to be looking out for lots of lovely ideas for the Yellow Club too!
......I have very exciting news about the Sizzix Coffee morning on the 13th - just waiting for a confirmation email and then I will post.

Robots. Hot Botz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I mentioned robots yesterday.
These look like so much fun and it is so nice to see something that makes you smile.

These cards are made by Kerry & Philomena Sullivan, one of the best tutors/designers, associated with the shop. These are just so good. I have them here and the photos just don't do them justice.
They really are the biz IRL (in real life)

I bought myself a present!

After spending an hour watching Suze Weinberg at CH+S in Birmingham I bought myself a present. It has just arrived. A melt pot, ultra thick, the dies, tools, ranger frames etc etc. Now I need time to play with them.
Hopefully I will get it right and then we can all have a play and start making gorgeous things like the necklace Suze made for me.
Yes, I can hear you Helen, you need a pic of it - I will try and get more organized.

Basic Grey Card Kit

Hi there,

Here is a few pics for ye.

On the last play day/evening a Basic Grey card kit was opened and all these cards were made.
It was the baby kit. I have made up the Cupcake & Sultry kits. The verdict on these were very good. Great for getting the mojo going again. You can sit and make 8 cards in one sitting with little or no left overs. Also gets you thinking outside the box.
These were all made from the instructions that are included.

Nestabilities - been saving for these for a while.

The best new things are coming

We are just back from Birmingham and I am so excited. Just as a starter - we are getting Nestablilities - and at a fantastic price!
We are also getting Glitter Girls boards etc, amazing new Sizzix stuff, Red Hot Bed, and amazing new wedding stuff.
Just unpacking the brochures and orders, all I can seem to think is amazing, and wow.
A little sad to be so excited about product, but why not?

Sneak Previews of the Dublin Workshops

I will be putting up some sneak previews as we have them. As well as great card workshops we will be using our stamps and stash to make some other useful gifty things. Take a look at these.

We have it confirmed - we are going to be having a giant Extravaganza in Athlone in September in conjunction with Mandels Art Shop, and hopefully a few others. It is at the gorgeous Athlone Springs Hotel, and the rates are good.
So save the dates 25, 26 and 27 September - for Ladies time out!!!!

I have just put up the latest K&Co stock on the site. This stuff is so fab, that it comes in and goes out so quick I rarely I time to get it up on teh site, but this year I have promised myself.

The prices are great too - thanks to the strong Euro.

Embossing Folders

I know some people were asking if they fit the Cuttlebug - yes they do.
